SHARED UNDERSTANDING

Loving our neighbors begins with understanding their story.

Shayla will help you understand:

  • Who The Warming Shelter serves & how they operate
  • How The Warming Shelter’s tiered pathway helps individuals move toward stability
  • A great example of Biblical hospitality in action and practical ways to love our neighbors
  • Ways Mt. Zion is partnering with The Warming Shelter & how you can get involved to make a meaningful impact

Our goal?

This event is part of Mt. Zion's ongoing commitment to support our neighbors at The Warming Shelter.

Mt. Zion is honored to partner with The Warming Shelter because we believe every person is created in the image of God and deserves dignity, hope, and the opportunity to rebuild their life. Together, we’re committed to loving our neighbors not only with words, but through practical action that strengthens our community and creates pathways from homelessness to hope.

Join us for this free Lunch & Learn with Executive Director Shayla Moore to gain a deeper understanding of The Warming Shelter’s mission, how it serves our community, and the realities of homelessness in Sioux City.

Whether you’re simply curious or looking for ways to get involved, you’ll leave with a clearer picture of the challenges, the successes, and how we can all be part of the solution.
