Are you ready to follow Jesus?

If you’re ready to take a step of faith and begin a new life in Christ, the Bible says:

“If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” — Romans 10:9

“Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” — Romans 10:13

God loves you more than you can imagine, and He’s inviting you into a real relationship with Him. If you’ve never done that before, you can begin right now. Here’s a simple prayer you can offer from your heart:

A Simple Prayer to Follow Jesus

Jesus, I know I’ve made mistakes and need Your forgiveness.
I believe You died and rose again so I can have new life.
Today I open my heart to You.
Be my Savior, my Lord, and my friend.
Thank You for loving me and making me new. Amen.

Here are some next steps to help you grow:

  • Tell someone.
    Let a pastor or trusted believer know about your decision so they can celebrate and support you.
  • Get connected.
    Join our Mt. Zion church family where you can worship, learn, and grow in community.
  • Read the Bible.
    Start with the Gospel of John to learn more about who Jesus is and what He taught.
  • Pray daily.
    Talk to God about your hopes, struggles, and gratitude — He wants to hear from you.
  • Be baptized.
    Baptism is a public way to show that you’ve given your life to Jesus (see Acts 2:38).
