Kids: Families, we see you, and we’ve made room for you Mt. Zion now offers a Family Worship Room for parents and caregivers with young children. See an usher for assistance. This space allows you to stay with your children while watching the worship service on screen, without worrying about noise or movement. Kids can be kids. Parents can worship in peace. Because we want to see every family’s face in this place!
Attire: Many who attend dress up in suits, or dresses and hats. However, pants and jeans are also common. The important thing is that you’re here, not what you’re wearing.
What’s worship like? If you love a passionate Gospel choir and amazing musicians, you’ll love our worship time. You’ll likely hear shouts of praise from folks during worship and see outward demonstrations of worship like hand raising and clapping. Others choose to worship more quietly, and that is AOK.
Parking: Once you turn onto Pierce Street and see our stone church building on the east side of the street at 14th and Pierce, you’ll find our parking lot through the gate. Come on in! Street parking is also available.
What if I’m late? Don’t worry about sneaking in late to a quiet church, so that everyone notices. We don’t do quiet church, and we’ll be glad to see you whenever you arrive. Just come!
